New Bridge Unit

Of course my first project would be my online namesake: the Key System's iconic Bridge Unit interurban streetcar

The original bridge units were made for service across the Oakland-San Francisco Bay Bridge. My design updates them with modern traction based on the Siemens Avenio tram, and low-floors, a must in any modern transit vehicle.

It also features the ability to remove the center section and one of the trucks to create a smaller vehicle for shorter routes or off-peak hours operation. The length of the vehicle with all three sections is 33 meters. With the center section removed it's 22 meters long. It is 2.7 meters wide.
